Abstract: A method of fastening a lock cylinder body in a generally flat element comprises the steps of providing in the element (20) an opening (22) which is defined by at least first and second mutually convergent edges (24a, 24b), and providing in the body (10) first and second grooves (14a, 14b) that are intended for co-action with said edges. The body is then inserted into the opening (22) to a position in which the grooves are level with said edges, whereafter the body is moved in a direction parallel with the plane of the element into an engagement position in which the edges are in engagement with the grooves, therewith to lock the body in an axial direction in this engagement position. Finally, a tongue (26) integral with the flat element is bent to a position in which the tongue lies essentially in the plane of said flat element, so as to lock the body (10) against movement in directions parallel with the plane of the element (20) in said engagement position.

Abstract: A locking device comprises a housing (4), a bolt means mounted in the housing and an intermediate member connected to the bolt means and adapted for an essentially rectilinear movement back and forth between a first end position, in which the bolt means is retracted, and a second end position, in which the bolt means is extended. The locking device also comprises a latch means restricting the movement of the intermediate member when a proper code card has not activated the locking device. A cassette (10) , which is integrated with the intermediate member and has a card space (12) for reception of the card in a position that activates the locking device, is provided with a frame (17), which fully hides the card from the outside when the bolt means is extended.

Abstract: A locking device includes a housing or a casing (3) having an opening (8) for the insertion of a lock activating card (6). The locking device includes a cylinder lock (5) which actuates a catch hook, an intermediate member (2) which is connected to the catch hook through the medium of a latch pin (10), and a pin-like latch member (1) that restricts movement of the intermediate member and therewith also movement of the catch hook until a correct card (6) is inserted into the opening. The card (6) includes at least one hole (6a) and the latch pin (1) can move perpendicularly to the card and therewith be received in the hole in said card, wherewith the latching effect of the latch pin is cancelled and the intermediate member is free to move. The latch pin (1), and therewith the card, is held fixed when the catch hook is swung out.
