  • Publication number: 20240068783
Abstract: A method to detect, identify and determine the position of laser points from infrared laser emitters in a firearm training simulation system. The method consists of two steps. This first step combines some common tools such as a camera with a filter switcher and edge and corner detecting algorithms in image processing to provide a fast automatic screen calibrating method. The second step is to detect laser point objects in each frame continuously captured by the camera, and then further process these objects to identify laser shots, filter out noisy objects, and eventually detect simulated shots from different laser emitters and determine the final mapped position of the shot.

  • Publication number: 20190165599
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for providing wireless power. In some embodiments, a method for wireless power transmission comprises sending, via an antenna of a first wireless power receiver client and during a first tone time block, a beacon signal to a wireless power transmission system. During a first power tick time block of a plurality of power tick time blocks, a wireless power signal is received from an antenna array of the wireless power transmission system. When not sending the beacon signal and when not receiving the wireless power signal, a low power mode is entered that is configured to consume less power than a power consumed by the first wireless power receiver during either the sending of the beacon signal or the receiving of the wireless power signal.

  • Patent number: 9228520
Abstract: A method for operating a valve actuated by way of an actuator, in particular a fuel injection valve of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, in which a first delay time is identified, which time characterizes a time difference between a point in time of a first change in an energization signal for the actuator and a point in time of a first change in the operating state of the valve corresponding to the first change in the energization signal. According to the present invention, from the first delay time at least one second delay time of the valve is inferred, which latter time characterizes a time difference between a point in time of a second change, different from the first change, in the energization signal and a point in time of a second change in the operating state of the valve corresponding to the second change in the energization signal.
