Abstract: An organic sol-gel nano-composition containing three solid lipid nano-components loaded with phytochemical active ingredients is proposed. Panax notoginseng saponins are extracted from Vietnamese Panax notoginseng. Rutin is extracted from Styphnolobium japonicum in Thai Binh Province, Vietnam, and Ginkgo biloba is extracted from Ginkgo biloba trees. The composition has shown to have low toxicity and great bioavailability. In particular, the composition is effective against local myocardial ischemias and arrhythmias, improves the blood rheology, platelet circulation and antiaggregation, and thrombosis, lowers the blood lipids to a certain limit, and has good effects against atherosclerosis.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition effective in treating diabetes and dyslipidemia prepared according to the solid lipid nanotechnology from two natural phytochemical active ingredients: cinnamonaldehyde extracted from the Vietnamese cinnamon and berberine as a bioactive compound extracted from several plants, including a group of shrubs called Berberis. Via testing, all of the composition of the present invention has shown to have low toxicity and great bioavailability, reduced insulin resistance that allows the sugar level in blood to more effectively induce reduction of insulin, hyperglycolysis that aids the body in cellular sugar decomposition, reduced sugar production in the liver, carbohydrate decomposition slowed down in the intestines, and an increasing in the number of beneficial microbes in the intestines. The composition is effective in reducing the total cholesterol level (TC), and non-HDL-cholesterol, and has a tendency to reduce TG level.

The MRI system is directed to acquire the following data from an imaging volume: three-dimensional diffusion-weighted k-space data, three-dimensional diffusion-weighted navigator data, three-dimensional non-diffusion-weighted k-space data, and three-dimensional non-diffusion-weighted navigator data. Initial estimates of k-space shift values and a constant phase offset value are calculated using the three-dimensional diffusion-weighted navigator data and the three-dimensional non-diffusion-weighted navigator data. These initial k-space shift values and constant phase offset value are then updated by iteratively minimizing a cost function that relates the phase of the diffusion-weighted k-space data to the phase of the non-diffusion-weighted k-space data, as shifted by the initial k-space shift values and constant phase offset value.

Abstract: A system and method for message redirection receives an email message originating from a user's mobile data communication device for redirection. A record containing a domain name is obtained, based at least in part on a user ID associated with the email message. If the domain name is blank, the system uses an address associated with the user as the “from” email address and if the domain name is not blank, the system uses a juxtaposition of a user name and the domain name as the “from” email address for transmitting the message.

Abstract: A scheme for redirecting messages between an Internet Service Provider (ISP) host and a mobile device associated with a user having a mail address at the ISP host. An embodiment comprises one or more of the following: receiving incoming messages directed to the user's mail address at the ISP host; responsive to a setting of a redirection trigger associated with the user, encrypting and redirecting the incoming messages from the ISP host to the mobile device via a redirector that is integrated with the ISP host; receiving encrypted outgoing messages that are generated and encrypted at the mobile communications device; decrypting the received encrypted outgoing messages to recover the outgoing messages; and configuring address information of the outgoing messages so that the user's mail address is used as an originating address of the outgoing messages.

Abstract: A message redirection scheme, comprising: receiving a notification that a message is available for redirection, the message comprising an e-mail originated from a user's mobile data communication device; obtaining a user ID related to the message and retrieving a user record based on the user ID; obtaining a site ID related to a messaging host system associated with the user and obtaining a site information record based on the site ID; if the site information record has a blank domain name, using an address found in the user record as an e-mail address; and if the site information record a populated domain name, then using a juxtaposition of a user name and a domain name as the e-mail address for transmitting the message.

Abstract: A system and method for pushing information from a host system to a mobile data communication device upon sensing a triggering event is disclosed. A redirector program operating at the host system enables a user to continuously redirect certain user-selected data items from the host system to the user's mobile data communication device upon detecting that one or more user-defined triggering events has occurred. The redirector program operates in connection with event-generating applications and repackaging systems at the host system to configure and detect a particular user-defined event, and then to encrypt and repackage the user-selected data items in an electronic wrapper prior to pushing the data items to the mobile device.
