  • Patent number: 11885317
Abstract: A pump control assembly for controlling a variable displacement hydraulic pump includes a spool mounted within a valve block. The spool is configured to move between a first and a second position within the valve block so as to selectively control the displacement of the attached pump. The pump control assembly further includes first and second chambers that each apply a force to opposite ends of the spool. The first chamber is positioned at a first end of the spool in fluid communication with a pump output port. The second chamber is positioned at a second end of the spool and in fluid communication with a hydraulic tank port and a proportional pressure reducing valve. The second chamber also includes a piston and first and second springs positioned on either side of the piston.

  • Patent number: 11608825
Abstract: Control systems and feedback assemblies for hydraulic axial displacement machines, such as pumps and motors. The control systems and feedback assemblies can have enhanced adjustability. An angle sensor for sensing the angular position of a pivot arm can have a housing, and the housing can be angularly adjustable about the pivot axis relative to the pivot arm.

  • Patent number: 11181154
Abstract: Control systems and feedback assemblies for hydraulic axial displacement machines, such as pumps and motors. The control systems and feedback assemblies can reduce friction on the charging spools and provide for a more reliable return of the swashplate to a neutral position. Aspects of the control systems and feedback assemblies can be modularized for, e.g., easy maintenance and to reduce the overall size of the system.

  • Patent number: 10954927
Abstract: A hydraulic pump system includes a pump control system operable to reduce electric current required at the start of the pump and reduce starting torque for the pump. The pump control system can include a gap between a spring seat and a valve spool such that the valve spool need not overcome a biasing force from a swash plate when the swash plate changes from its maximum displacement position to its neutral position.
