Abstract: An image analysis system for a vehicle that analyzes image data captured by one or more peripheral cameras includes one or more controllers that execute instructions to determine a source of the image data. The one or more peripheral cameras are part of a personal mobile device of an occupant of the vehicle. The source of the image data is either an exterior environment surrounding the vehicle or an internal environment representative of an interior cabin of the vehicle.

Abstract: A system for managing wireless connections for a vehicle may include one or more wireless devices, a vehicle communication system, and a vehicle controller in electrical communication with the vehicle communication system. The vehicle controller is programmed to determine a selected device of the one or more wireless devices with which to establish a connection using the vehicle communication system. The vehicle controller is further programmed to establish a wireless connection between the selected device and the vehicle communication system in response to determining the selected device.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining a cell volume of a red blood cell is provided. The method includes the steps of: a) depositing a sample into an analysis chamber, the chamber defined by an first panel interior surface, a second panel interior surface, and a known or determinable height, which height is such that at least one red blood cell subject to a sphering agent assumes a partially compressed spherical shape in contact with the interior surfaces; b) imaging the at least one partially compressed spherical red blood cell contacting the interior surfaces, and producing image signals; c) determining a radius of the partially compressed spherical red blood cell from the image signals; and d) determining a volume of the imaged red blood cell using the determined radius.
