The at least one telephone system establishes a connection with a second network entity via a second access node, in an event the connectivity with the first network entity fails and transmits a signal request to the application server. The application server processes the signal request and provides the at least one SIP trunk service to the at least one telephone system.

A P-CSCF module analyses a request for establishing the emergency call received from the user equipment, wherein the request comprises a destination emergency number, a subscriber identity and an access type through which the request is made. The P-CSCF module transmits a location retrieval request to a PCRF module for retrieving a location information of the user equipment. Subsequently, an E-CSCF module receives a routing information from a LRF module based on the location information, pursuant to which the E-CSCF module routes the emergency call to the emergency center and establishes the emergency call with the emergency center.
