  • Patent number: 12300365
Abstract: Techniques for analyzing patient health records are provided. Clinical documents may be received in response to a patient-initiated request, for example. In one embodiment, machine learning algorithms are used to sectionalize and extract data from clinical documents. The machine learning algorithms used may be more highly focused for analyzing text residing deeper in a clinical document hierarchy, for example. In one embodiment, extracted data is stored in a patient graph. Searches may be made against the graph to yield results to help save lives and/or improve patient outcomes.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 14, 2023
Date of Patent: May 13, 2025
    Assignee: Citizen Health, Inc.
    Inventors: Anil Sethi, Peeyush Rai

  • Patent number: 7943008
Abstract: A method of making pulp adapted to be used in forming corrugating medium is disclosed. The method comprises cooking woodchips in a first liquor in the absence of an alkali addition. The method further comprises mechanically fiberizing the woodchips to form a pulp. The method further comprises separating hydrolyzate from the pulp. The method further comprises treating the pulp with a second liquor, the second liquor including at least one alkali. The method further comprises refining the pulp.

  • Publication number: 20030229846
Abstract: A method and system for capturing digital data directly from an electronic device's port and processing the data into extensible markup language (XML) form. The integration appliance is configured with desired templates and XML output destination information. A port driver captures the data flowing through the port on its way to the printer. The data is scanned and the data format is determined. The data is parsed into fields and data. The parsed data is scanned to determine the correct template to apply. The correct template is applied to the data to pull out fields and corresponding data. The fields and corresponding data is transformed to XML output. This XML output is sent to a predefined destination.

  • Patent number: 4209359
Abstract: A method for removing residual oxygen from an aqueous slurry of pulp that has been oxygen-bleached is disclosed. The slurry, usually containing no more than 3 weight percent fiber, is agitated by a radial-flow impeller, which imparts a substantially radial flow to the slurry. If the residual oxygen is not removed, it may degas at an inopportune moment during later processing (for example, washing) and carry some of the wood fibers to the surface of the slurry, thereby forming a foamy mat, which hinders further processing.
