Abstract: A cartridge or pod for use in an electronic cigarette, or electronic vaporizer, makes use of a displacement member to reduce or eliminate air bubbles within the pod after filling. During assembly, liquid is filled to a desired level in a pod, and an end cap is inserted. The end cap makes use of the displacement member, which may be integrated with a wick holder, to displace e-liquid. The displacement of the e-liquid further displaces air left in the pod before it is sealed.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed to automatically detecting an event in a production curve, generating a production estimate using a quantile regression and to performing a probabilistic decline curve analysis. In one scenario, a computer system identifies a candidate break point in a production decline curve which represents a decline in material production at a well. The computer system identifies one trend for the production decline curve occurring before the candidate break point and identifies a second trend for the production decline curve occurring after the candidate break point. The computer system calculates the difference between the first material production decline estimate and the second material production decline estimate and identifies the candidate break points where the difference between the first material production decline estimate and the second material production decline estimate is beyond a threshold value.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for context-aware and personalized access to data corresponding to an event. The data is related to multiple predefined parameters including a location, date, time, and a classifier representing a status or an impact intensity for the event. The method includes receiving the data and an event type for the data. The event type is selected from multiple predefined event types. The method also includes creating a hierarchical data structure configured to spatially index the data based on the selected event type. The hierarchical data structure includes a node representing the selected event type. The node is augmented using a linked list for referring to the data to be stored in a database. The node is associated with a frequency of occurrence of the selected event type.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments illustrate method and system for information retrieval for a spatial region. The method includes receiving a query that comprises a first entity selection criteria, a second entity selection criteria, and a count of entities. The method further includes identifying a node, from a set of nodes at a level of a hierarchal database, having a bounding box, which satisfies the first entity selection criteria, wherein the node comprises at least a first array, wherein the first array comprises one or more second pointer values. The method further includes identifying a second pointer value from the one or more second pointer values that satisfies the second entity selection criteria, wherein the identified second pointer value is associated with a second array. Further, the method includes retrieving a subset of entities from a set of entities in the second array based on the count of entities in the query.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses methods and systems for analyzing the financial reports of a plurality of companies of a particular industry, to identify one or more companies with different investment risks. A pre-defined section that corresponds to investment risk related qualitative details, is extracted from the financial reports of the plurality of companies, and a normalized feature vector is created. Next, a similarity between each normalized feature vector is computed, such that one or more companies with least similarity correspond to having different investment risks.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose gateway facilitating document transactions and related methods. Specifically, the disclosure discloses a gateway facilitating document transactions within a third party workflow. The gateway includes a front-end module and a controller. The method includes generating a first signature for each of one or more first users. The first signature is generated based on at least a first set of data received from at least one or more first sensors in a first user-computing device associated with each of the one or more first users. The method further includes generating a second signature for each of the one or more first vehicles, based on at least a second set of data received from one or more second sensors in a first vehicle-computing device associated with each of the one or more first vehicles. Further, the method includes determining a likelihood of the availability of the one or more parking spots based on at least the first signature and the second signature.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments illustrate methods and systems for processing a speech query received from a user. The method comprises determining one or more interpretations of the speech query using an ASR technique that utilizes a database comprising one or more interpretations of each of one or more pre-stored speech queries and a profile of each of one or more crowdworkers. The one or more interpretations are received as one or more responses from the one or more crowdworkers, in response to each of the one or more pre-stored speech queries being offered as one or more crowdsourced tasks to the one or more crowdworkers. Further, one or more search results retrieved based on the one or more determined interpretations are ranked, based on a comparison of a profile of the user with the profile of each of the one or more crowdworkers associated with the one or more determined interpretations.
