  • Patent number: 10412126
Abstract: Statistics of a media stream of a communication session are received from one or more communication devices involved in the communication session. The statistics are from various communication devices that are involved in the media stream of the communication session. A determination is made to see if at least one of the statistics from one of the communication devices meets a threshold. In response to the at least one of the statistics meeting the threshold, a message is sent to dynamically change a configuration the media stream of the communication session while the communication session is still active. For example, the message may be to switch to a different media server in order to improve the quality of the media stream.

  • Patent number: 10410322
Abstract: An image and/or temporal sequence of images is received. The image and/or sequence of images was captured by an image capturing device of a vehicle apparatus onboard a vehicle and was down-sampled thereby. A scale of the image(s) is determined. An up-sampling network receives the image(s) and the scale. The up-sampling network determines appropriate network weights based on the scale. Based on the appropriate network weights, the up-sampling network generates a higher resolution image having a pre-defined scale.

  • Patent number: 10399778
Abstract: A identification and planning system includes a scanner assembly, a robotic manipulator, and control server. The control server detects a first plurality of inventory items in a first inventory storage system and determines a first set of position parameters for a first inventory item from the detected first plurality of inventory items, with respect to a position of one or more image sensors in the scanner assembly. The control server generates a plurality of pick-path plans for the first inventory item, where each pick-path plan corresponds to a transformation of the determined first set of position parameters to a second set of position parameters with respect to the robotic manipulator. The control server further selects a first pick-path plan from the plurality of pick-path plans and controls the robotic manipulator to pick the first inventory item from the first inventory storage system, based on the first pick-path plan.

  • Patent number: 10397236
Abstract: A customer's resources are protected from malicious or accidental deletion or termination. In some embodiments anomaly detection is used for identifying suspicious activities, which is combined with options to restore previously deleted resources. To define and detect anomalies, resource profiles are generated indicative of how resources are being used, and user profiles of how users use resources of the compute service provider. Instead of immediately deleting a resource, a temporary marker can be placed on the resource. The temporary marker blocks attempts to access the resource just as if the resource was deleted. However, the resource can easily be recovered by simply removing the marker. When a deletion event is identified as anomalous, an alert is generated to the customer. Upon receiving the alert, customers can opt to restore the resource that has been deleted, which will remove the marker.

  • Publication number: 20190258388
Abstract: In embodiments of objects alignment and distribution layout, an object layout interface includes objects displayed for selection and manipulation. A layout algorithm receives a reposition input for a selected object in the object layout interface, and determines a distribution layout and/or an alignment layout of the objects. The layout algorithm positions the selected object equidistant between at least two of the objects or at a distance from a closest one of the objects, the distance being an equivalent distance of a space between the at least two objects. The space between the objects is displayed as positive space that visually indicates the equidistance between the objects. Alternatively or in addition, the layout algorithm positions the selected object in alignment with multiple objects, and an alignment indication, such as an edge line and/or a distance measurement, is displayed for each instance of the selected object being aligned with the multiple objects.

  • Patent number: 10366729
Abstract: A sense circuit is provided in which the threshold voltage of a memory cell is sensed relative to two different levels using a single control gate voltage on the memory cell. These two levels can be lower and higher verify voltages of a data state in a programming operation, or two read levels of a read operation. A sense node is charged up to a peak level by a pre-charge voltage and by capacitive coupling. The sense node then discharges into the bit line. The sense node voltage is decreased first and second times by capacitive coupling after which first and second bits of data are output based on a level of the sense node. The first and second bits indicate a level of the sense node relative to the lower and higher verify voltages, respectively.

  • Patent number: 10366739
Abstract: A circuit includes selected sense circuits configured to be connected to selected bit lines and unselected sense circuits configured to be connected to unselected bit lines during a sense operation. A voltage supply circuit may supply a selected pulse and an unselected pulse to the selected and unselected sense circuits. The selected sense circuits may pass the selected pulse to associated charge-storing circuits, and reject the unselected pulse. The unselected sense circuits may pass the unselected pulse to associated charge-storing circuits, and reject the selected pulse. In addition, voltage-setting circuitry may set sense voltages in the unselected sense circuits to a pre-sense level that matches the pre-sense level of communication voltages in the unselected sense circuits.

  • Patent number: 10359826
Abstract: A computing device may comprise a processor, a volatile memory and a non-volatile storage device. An operating system or firmware of the device may cause one or more pages of the volatile memory to be treated, by applications executing on the computing device, as non-volatile memory pages. A maximum number of pages that may be treated as non-volatile may be determined based on an amount of energy available in a battery and an amount of energy needed to transfer a page of memory to the non-volatile storage device.

  • Patent number: 10338659
Abstract: A computing device may comprise a volatile memory and a non-volatile storage device. Upon system shutdown, contents of the volatile memory may be preserved by memory transfer operations from the volatile memory to the non-volatile storage device. During memory preservation, the computing device may enter a low-power state. The low-power state may comprise suspension of power to a core of a processor while maintaining power to the processor's uncore, and disablement of interrupt signals not related to memory transfer operations. Power delivery to the core of the processor may be periodically resumed to initiate additional memory transfer operations.
