  • Publication number: 20150078332
Abstract: Voice call continuity is provided for calls that are carried over a hybrid network infrastructure in which access connections are distributed over loosely coupled network portions including a backend network such as a core VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) service network, one or more cellular mobile networks, and a public switched telephone network (“PSTN”). The calls are routed through the core VoIP network regardless of their points of origination or termination in other network portions so that signaling and call context are anchored in the core VoIP network. The conditions under which user equipment operate are continuously monitored so that when a connection is determined to have been unacceptably degraded or is likely to be interrupted, and/or a more optimal connection is available, a handover of the call to another connection is initiated so that call continuity is maintained using the lowest cost connection that provides acceptable call quality.

  • Publication number: 20140075185
Abstract: An invalid digital certificate can be saved and subsequently compared to an incoming digital certificate when performing a security check. If a subsequently provided digital certificate does not match the saved digital certificate, an error condition can be generated. Because a digital certificate can be invalid for non-malicious reasons, such technologies can be useful for improving software security.

  • Publication number: 20120311426
Abstract: One or more computers receive input indicative of multiple files to be analyzed together, by performing one or more predetermined actions, using the contents (e.g. strings of text) of a corresponding one or more structures. The one or more structures are identified by the presence in each file, of corresponding names. The one or more structures are normally written into the files for use by an application program to layout the contents therein in a structured manner. The one or more computers are programmed to automatically parse each file, to identify therein the one or more layout structures e.g. based on the presence in each file of corresponding names of layout structures. After parsing, the one or more computer(s) perform the one or more predetermined actions, to obtain an output structure that holds the results based on the contents of each layout structure identified in each file.

  • Publication number: 20060155817
Abstract: Methods, systems, and machine-readable mediums are disclosed to integrate web services with applications. In one embodiment, a method is disclosed which comprises determining an operation provided by a web service, determining an more input parameter associated with the operation, mapping the input parameter to an application input data parameter associated with an application, and storing the mapping in setup information used to invoke the operation. In another embodiment, a method comprises obtaining setup information for an operation associated with a web service, using the setup information to determine mappings between one or more input parameters associated with the operation and application input data parameters, obtaining a value associated with an application input data parameter for each of the application input data parameters mapped to one of the input parameters, and invoking the web service using the obtained values.

  • Publication number: 20060036459
Abstract: Techniques for tracking shipments of items are provided. A graphical user interface is provided for setting up a tracking service for a carrier. A tracking service may be set up for any number of carriers. Website access information is then received for the carrier. The website access information includes any information needed to access a carrier's shipment tracking service on their website. For example, a user may determine website access information for the carrier and input the information into the interface. Parameters for the website access information are also received. The website access information and the parameters for the carrier tracking service are then stored. The website access information and parameters may then be used to automatically access tracking information for a shipment for the carrier.

  • Publication number: 20010028824
Abstract: A snowplowable pavement marker includes a frame member having primary spaced keel members with ramp surfaces which have upwardly inclined contours beginning at a forward end portion of each keel member and extending at a first acute angle, then transitions to a second portion having a second acute angle which is greater than the first angle. Further, the frame member includes an auxiliary keel member having ramp surfaces disposed between the primary keel members and having the same contour as the primary ramp surfaces. The auxiliary keel member ramp surfaces extend inwardly of the frame member to a point proximate the marker's reflector and serve to prevent damage by a snowplow blade set at a wide angle to the direction of blade travel. Advantageously, the contour of ramp surfaces permits a higher frame member installation above the pavement and allows for greater exposure of the reflector.
