  • Publication number: 20050153110
Abstract: A composite including (A) a first layer of paper having a printable upper surface and a lower surface, the printable upper surface forming a topmost surface of the composite; (B) a first extruded polymer layer having an upper surface joined to the lower surface of the first layer of paper and having a lower surface; and (C) an adhesive layer on the lower surface of the polymer layer. The composite may further include (D) a release-coated liner having a topmost surface and a bottommost surface and including a second layer of paper and the lower surface of the second layer of paper forms the bottommost surface of the release-coated liner. The release-coated liner may include an additional polymer layer. One or more primer layers may be included between various layers of the composite.
