    Abstract: An implement for use in applying strip material such as wallpaper borders to vertical walls comprises a holder which carries an upright spindle over which a roll of the strip material is received. The holder includes a reservoir to receive liquid which may drip from the roll of strip material, the roll being held clear of the liquid in the reservoir by a support on the spindle.
