  • Patent number: 7133510
Abstract: Techniques for managing access to resources utilizing call information are provided. Resources of like type can be pooled into resource groups and customers can then be sold a base amount of a resource, to be taken from the appropriate resource group, that the customer can then provide to users or callers. The server of the resources utilizes the telephone number of the party called and call type in order to identify the resource that is requested. If the base amount of the requested resource has already been allocated, an overflow amount can be utilized to provide additional resources of a like type, if they are available. Thus, the resources can be efficiently managed to allow a high utilization of the available resources.

  • Patent number: 7132511
Abstract: The present invention relates to antibodies which are directed to the EGF receptor (HER1) to be administered especially to humans and in particular for therapeutic use in tumors. The antibodies are modified whereby the modification results in a reduced propensity for the antibody to elicit an immune response upon administration to the human subject. The invention in particular relates to the modification of anti-EGFR antibody 425 in its different forms and fragments thereof to result in Mab 425 variants that are substantially non-immunogenic or less immunogenic than any non-modified counterpart when used in vivo.

  • Publication number: 20060243365
Abstract: Insulated portable carrier cover to be used by individuals engaging in recreational activities, e.g., boating trips, camping trips, trips to the beach, and trips to the desert. The insulated cover is made using materials having superior insulating and reflective properties to provide for superior sun blockage. The cover comprises one or more layers of thin, lightweight, flexible polyester fabric insulating material, or the like. The exterior surface of the insulating material is covered by a layer of reflective metal and may also have a protective film coating. The reflective metal may thus be composed of a metalized film laminated to polyethylene or plastic film (e.g. Mylar). Because the materials serve as a thermal barrier and protect against ultraviolet radiation of the sun, the cover is able to significantly extend the period of time that a portable carrier can maintain the temperature of its contents, even in extreme temperatures.

  • Publication number: 20060237846
Abstract: When forming a silicon nitride film from a nitrogen precursor, using a silicon precursor combination rather than a single silane precursor advantageously increases the deposition rate. For example, adding silane during formation of a silicon nitride film made using BTBAS and ammonia improves (increases) the deposition rate while still yielding a film with a favorably high stress.

  • Patent number: 7125689
Abstract: Protein, or parts of proteins, may be rendered non-immunogenic, or less immunogenic, to a given species by identifying in their amino acid sequences one or more potential epitopes for T-cells of the given species and modifying the amino acid sequence to eliminate at least one of the T-cell epitopes. This eliminates or reduces the immunogenicity of the protein when exposed to the immune system of the given species. Monoclonal antibodies and other immunoglobulin-like molecules can particularly benefit from being de-immunised in this way: for example, mouse-derived immunoglobulins can be de-immunised for human therapeutic use.

  • Patent number: 7126834
Abstract: A content addressable memory (CAM) device (200) can equalize a potential between a match line (202) and corresponding pseudo-supply (PVSS) line (204) in a pre-sense operation. In a sense operation, a sensing device (P4) can determine a match condition exists when the match line (202) potential varies from the PVSS line (204) potential. Complementary compare data lines (CD and BCD) can be equalized with one another in a pre-sense operation, while one compare data line (CD or BCD) can be equalized with bit lines (BB1 and/or BB2) in the sensing operation.

  • Patent number: 7123608
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for managing database servers and services is disclosed, which expands the capabilities of existing systems by providing better scalability and security. A database management system includes databases consisting of database clients and servers that handle the storing of information, a multi-database client that manages database servers, service modules which allow other systems to access the database servers, and a database access manager that manages requests from the service modules. A database access manager facilitates and coordinates interaction between the service modules and the multi-database client. Service modules provide interfaces from which other external or internal systems can access the managed databases. Requests can be sent between systems and the database access manager via the service modules. Two present and representative implementations of service modules are: user management and call detail record (CDR) collection.
