    Abstract: To enable simplified movement and/or control of a medical apparatus, the medical apparatus includes a traversing mechanism and at least one motor. The at least one motor is embodied to drive the traversing mechanism. The medical apparatus is characterized by at least one force sensor and a control apparatus. The at least one force sensor detects a force acting from the outside on the medical apparatus, and the control apparatus activates the at least one motor in dependence on the force detected by the at least one force sensor.
