  • Patent number: 9838264
Abstract: In order to engineer software architectures of complex cyber-physical systems of different technical domains such that both time and effort efficient and truly interactive engineering of software architectures of complex cyber-physical systems is enabled, it is proposed to provide an automatic enforcement of multi-level Constraints across architectural Views. This provides, (i) with regard to architectural aspects of such a complex cyber-physical system being captured in Views including various Entities being related to each other and entities being related across various Views and (ii) that these multi-view Constraints particularly implying that the Constraints placed on the Entities in one View may affect the validity of the relations of the Entities in another View, an error-free engineering, (e.g., without violating at least one Constraint), together with a rapid, in particular visual, feedback of Constraints being invalidated and Entities involved in the Constraints.

  • Publication number: 20130041702
Abstract: A method includes steps for gathering forecast prognoses from a plurality of forecasting assessment participants and for weighting the participant specific forecast prognoses with a participant specific weighting factor. The participant specific weighting factor is adjusted according to a deviation of the participant specific forecast prognoses from actual outcomes of the forecasting assessments. A machine readable medium includes instructions for executing a forecasting method. A forecasting system includes a computer system and remote computers being coupled to the computer system, the computer system being configured to perform a forecasting method.

  • Publication number: 20110191089
Abstract: The method involves relationships or dependencies between two demands within the models being tracked and being able to be stored for later use. A structured request is used to search for at least one relationship between two demands within a definable search space. The request is equipped with a source phrase having a stipulated first structural element, a destination phrase having a stipulated second structural element and a result element with a stipulated name for the pair comprising the source phrase and the destination phrase and with a stipulated relationship type. Consequently, the demand monitoring by the structural elements is very flexible. The flexibility is increased further by the possibility of storing and managing the result element with the created relationship or the created relationships independently of the models.
