Abstract: A charging pile type recognition method includes: obtaining a charging parameter of an electric vehicle within a preset time period; determining a proportion of a preset power charging capacity of a charging pile within the preset time period according to the charging parameter, wherein the proportion of the preset power charging capacity is equal to a ratio of a first amount of electricity charged into the electric vehicle by the charging pile at a preset power within the preset time period to a total amount of electricity charged into the electric vehicle by the charging pile within the preset time period; and determining a type of the charging pile according to the proportion of the preset power charging capacity.
