Patent number: 10848480Abstract: A system, method, computer program product and apparatus provide an improvement to administration and management of security certificates in enterprise scale networks. An exemplary embodiment integrates a network device manager (NDM) with Simple Certificate Enrollment Protocol (SCEP) for administration and management of network equipment and for handling certificates for enterprise-scale implementation. The network device manager may control the settings and is configured to communicate with the firmware of end devices. The SCEP thus has a medium in the network device manager through which the SCEP features can be communicated to the end devices. In an exemplary embodiment, aspects of the system may for example, automatically check expiration of and renew certificates that are expiring.Type: GrantFiled: July 13, 2018Date of Patent: November 24, 2020Inventors: Hooman Majidzadeh Rezvani, Oleksandr Osadchyy, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Daisaku Nagano, Ankur Chhabra

Patent number: 10503448Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method of arranging a cluster of printers that are able to run a customized container image based on the requirements of the applications in the container and the characteristics of the printers in the network. The method includes receiving a container image of software configured to be executed on printers. The method also includes determining and receiving a response to a query for printer characteristics using the server. Additionally, the method includes determining image-eligible micro-services that are configured to execute on a set of selected image-eligible printers selected based on a comparison of the response information with the container-eligible characteristics. Moreover, the method includes determining that the container image is configured to execute image-eligible micro-services. The method further includes, sending the container image to the image-eligible printers and executing the printer management application on the image-eligible printers.Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 2018Date of Patent: December 10, 2019Assignee: KYOCERA DOCUMENT SOLUTIONS INC.Inventors: Ankur Chhabra, Oleksandr Osadchyy

Patent number: 9665312Abstract: Example systems and methods are disclosed for organizing and displaying printing devices based on model types. An example method may include determining, from a data source, accessible printing devices and their corresponding identifiers, model types, and display names. The method may also include determining, from a different data source, model group identifiers for the model types of the accessible printing devices. The method may further include grouping the accessible printing devices based on their model types into model groups having unique model group identifiers. The method may even further include generating, for display, the display names of the accessible printing devices organized by the model groups. The method may also include generating configuration parameters for one or more of the accessible printing devices based on a selected model group.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2015Date of Patent: May 30, 2017Assignee: KYOCERA Document Solutions Inc.Inventors: Oleksandr Osadchyy, Ankur Chhabra

Patent number: 8601431Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for evaluating a plurality of software applications for offshore testing. A criteria model including one or more criteria for assessing the viability of offshore testing is defined by one or more tool administrators. Thereafter, one or more experts assign scores to the plurality of software applications with reference to the criteria model. One or more cumulative scores may then be calculated for each of the plurality of software applications based on the assigned scores. Further, a graph may be generated on the basis of the one or more cumulative scores. Subsequently, one or more software applications are identified for offshore testing. A transition plan for offshore testing of the one or more software applications may also be defined.Type: GrantFiled: December 8, 2009Date of Patent: December 3, 2013Assignee: Infosys LimitedInventors: Nagarajan Dayasindhu, Venkatakrishnan Balasubramanian, Ankur Chhabra

Publication number: 20100063936Abstract: The present invention provides a method, system and computer program product for evaluating risk mitigation plan alternatives, to manage the risks related to a business process. A criteria model is defined, including one or more criteria against which the risk mitigation plan alternatives are evaluated. Weights are also assigned to the criteria. One or more risk assessors assign scores to the risk mitigation plan alternatives with reference to the criteria model, based on a predefined scale. Thereafter, the utility values of the risk mitigation plan alternatives are calculated, based on the weight and a probability assigned by a risk assessor, wherein the probability is a measure of the uncertainty in the score assigned to the criteria. The risk mitigation plan alternatives are evaluated, based on the utility values, and accordingly, an optimal risk-mitigation plan may be selected.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 6, 2009Publication date: March 11, 2010Inventors: N Dayasindhu, Venkatakrishnan Balasubramanian, Ankur Chhabra
