  • Patent number: 11501548
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method and an object determination system for determining one or more target objects in an image. The image is segmented by the object detection system into one or more segments based on visual attributes in a first set. Morphological operations are performed on the one or more segments to obtain one or more morphed segments. One or more candidates of target objects are identified based on visual attributes in a second set corresponding to each one or more morphed segments. The object determination system identifies at least one of true positive and false positive from the one or more candidates which indicates presence or absence of the one or more target objects respectively, based on neighborhood information associated with the one or more candidates. The present disclosure facilitates in determining target objects in document automatically, thereby eliminating manual intervention in identifying target objects in the document.

  • Patent number: 11417058
Abstract: Methods, systems, and non-transitory computer readable storage media are disclosed for utilizing a central processing unit to generate a compressed multi-vertex buffer to include rendering data from tessellated geometry of a two-dimensional vector graphic for rendering the two-dimensional vector graphic via a GPU rendering pipeline. For example, the disclosed system generates an expanded geometry for control triangles within the tessellated geometry based on an anti-aliasing direction. The disclosed system generates multi-vertex buffer entries including vertex locations and visual attributes (e.g., color, primitive type, anti-aliasing direction, stroke width) of the vector paths corresponding to each triangle in the tessellated geometry. Furthermore, the disclosed system renders the two-dimensional vector graphic by passing the rendering data stored in the compressed multi-vertex buffer to the graphics processing unit in a manner that the graphics processing unit is able to process.

  • Publication number: 20220240801
Abstract: A plethysmograph variability processor inputs a plethysmograph waveform having pulses corresponding to pulsatile blood flow within a tissue site. The processor derives plethysmograph values based upon selected plethysmograph features, determines variability values, and calculates a plethysmograph variability parameter. The variability values indicate the variability of the plethysmograph features. The plethysmograph variability parameter is representative of the variability values and provides a useful indication of various physiological conditions and the efficacy of treatment for those conditions.

  • Patent number: 11399722
Abstract: A plethysmographic respiration processor is responsive to respiratory effects appearing on a blood volume waveform and the corresponding detected intensity waveform measured with an optical sensor at a blood perfused peripheral tissue site so as to provide a measurement of respiration rate. A preprocessor identifies a windowed pleth corresponding to a physiologically acceptable series of plethysmograph waveform pulses. Multiple processors derive different parameters responsive to particular respiratory effects on the windowed pleth. Decision logic determines a respiration rate based upon at least a portion of these parameters.

  • Patent number: 11379215
Abstract: This disclosure describes, in part, techniques and systems for accurately and efficiently updating applications stored on client computing devices. In some instances, the systems and techniques receive an update from an application developer, but rather than send the update directly to a client computing device that operates the application, the systems and techniques determine one or more difference between the current update and an update previously sent to the client computing device and, thereafter, send a “diff file” indicative of these differences to the client computing device. The client computing device may then use the diff file and the previously received update to re-create the new update. Thus, the systems and techniques are able to update client computing devices while limiting the amount of data sent over a network to these devices.

  • Publication number: 20220191093
Abstract: A host computing system may include a processor and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory may include an auto-discovery module to broadcast a message to a set of management nodes in a data center. The message may include a configuration policy. • Publication number: 20220139009
Abstract: Curve antialiasing based on curve-pixel intersection is leveraged in a digital medium environment. For instance, to apply antialiasing according to techniques described herein, curves of a visual object are mapped from an original pixel space to a virtual pixel space. Virtual pixels of the virtual pixel space that are intersected by the mapped curves are identified and aggregated as intersected virtual pixels. The intersected virtual pixels are then mapped back into the original pixel space to identify which intersected virtual pixels positionally coincide with respective original pixels of the original pixel space. Intersected virtual pixels are mapped to original pixels to generate pixel coverage for original pixels. The generated pixel coverage values for original pixels are applied to render antialiased curves as part of an antialiased version of the original visual object.

  • Publication number: 20220122586
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of training a streaming speech recognition model that includes receiving, as input to the streaming speech recognition model, a sequence of acoustic frames. The streaming speech recognition model is configured to learn an alignment probability between the sequence of acoustic frames and an output sequence of vocabulary tokens. The vocabulary tokens include a plurality of label tokens and a blank token. At each output step, the method includes determining a first probability of emitting one of the label tokens and determining a second probability of emitting the blank token. The method also includes generating the alignment probability at a sequence level based on the first probability and the second probability. The method also includes applying a tuning parameter to the alignment probability at the sequence level to maximize the first probability of emitting one of the label tokens.
