  • Patent number: 11442617
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system that facilitates use of an electronic device. During operation, the system displays, by an application on the electronic device, a user interface comprising a first set of user-interface elements for obtaining data from a user. Upon detecting a first swiping gesture through the user interface, the system submits the data for processing by the application. The system then updates the user interface with a second set of user-interface elements based on the submitted data.

  • Patent number: 11042387
Abstract: This disclosure relates to cross-platform applications that include native and non-native components on mobile devices. An exemplary method generally includes receiving a first workflow step definition including a first set of widgets to be loaded into an application shell. A mobile shell identifies a type of each widget in the first set of widgets (e.g., native or platform-agnostic) and loads each widget into the mobile shell based on the widget type. For a platform-agnostic widget, the mobile shell creates a platform-agnostic widget proxy service, which provides a runtime environment. The platform-agnostic widget may be loaded into the platform-agnostic widget proxy service and executes in the runtime provided thereby.

  • Patent number: 10791272
Abstract: A camera may capture data. A processor in communication with the camera may detect a plurality of symbols in one or more frames in the data. The processor may determine an expected sequence of the plurality of symbols and an expected orientation of each of the plurality of symbols. The processor may determine a position and orientation of each of the one or more frames based on at least one of the symbols visible in the frame. The processor may correct errors in the one or more frames. The processor may arrange a plurality of frames with respect to one another based on the determined positions and orientations. The processor may stitch the plurality of arranged frames into an image.

  • Patent number: 10402035
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system that facilitates use of an application on an electronic device. During operation, the system executes an orchestrator that coordinates the operation of a set of rendering components for rendering different views of a user interface for the application. The orchestrator is used to provide the user interface on the electronic device. First, the orchestrator obtains content for rendering the user interface. Next, the orchestrator identifies, from the content, a first rendering component from the set of rendering components for use in rendering a first view of the user interface. The system then provides the content to the first rendering component, wherein the content is used by the first rendering component to render the first view of the user interface.

  • Patent number: 10332122
Abstract: A user's physiological status is monitored and the resulting physiological status data is obtained and analyzed to determine whether a user would benefit from user support intervention. If it is determined that the user would benefit from intervention, an intervention notification is provided to a user support service. The user support service may then provide dynamic and responsive user support. To provide effective, efficient user support, different types of user support can be provided to the user.
