    Abstract: A method performed by a Radio Area Network, RAN, function node for handling connectivity in a RAN is provided. The RAN function node receives from a network node, a first subscription request for one or more RAN insights relating to the connectivity, requested for an application related to a wireless device. The RAN function node identifies RAN data needed to fulfil the subscription request and sends to a RAN node, a second subscription request for the identified RAN data. The RAN function node receives published RAN data according to the second subscription request and generates the RAN insights according to the first subscription request based on the received RAN data. The RAN function node establishes which domain out of a trusted domain or an untrusted domain the generated RAN insights are to be exposed in and publishes the generated RAN insights according to the first subscription request.

    Abstract: A network assistance node (300), a wireless device (302), a network node (304), an opposite node (306) and methods therein, for handling communication of data between the wireless device and the opposite node over a radio bearer in a cell. When detecting (3:2) that a potential data class is requested which tolerates a certain delay for delivering the data, the network assistance node obtains (3:5) from the network node availability of a potential data bearer dedicated for the potential data class, which availability is dependent on whether a cost related parameter associated with the wireless device fulfils a threshold condition. The network assistance node then reports (3.6) availability of the potential data class to the wireless device and the opposite node, indicating that the potential data bearer is available for data of the potential data class.

A current service quality for a plurality of QoS flows is determined. Based on the combined current service quality and the expected quality level, a scheduling priority for assigning resources to a plurality of QoS flows is determined.

The wireless device determines whether the potential data bearer is available, based on the system information. When available, the wireless device initiates a transition from idle/inactive mode to connected mode and communicates the data over the potential data bearer. When the potential data bearer is unavailable, the wireless device stays in the idle/inactive mode. When the data is downlink data, the core node sends a paging message indicating a potential data class.

The method also comprises determining that the relative contribution of the second RTT indicates that signalling performance between the server and terminal device is limited by the signalling performance between the server and RAN.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for reflective mapping of flows to radio bearers are provided. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a radio access node includes determining a flow-to-radio bearer mapping by determining a radio bearer to which to map a flow. The method also includes mapping the flow to the radio bearer according to the flow-to-radio bearer mapping, where the radio bearer is different than a previous radio bearer to which the flow was mapped and transmitting a downlink transmission for the flow on the radio bearer according to the flow-to-radio bearer mapping. The downlink transmission includes a flow identifier of the flow. In this way, a flow may be quickly mapped to another radio bearer for a wireless device. This may be for when the transmission of a flow starts or changes in characteristics. Also, control signaling is reduced between the radio access node and the wireless device.
