    Abstract: Alternaria disease on plant leaves and stems is controlled by inoculating the plants with an effective amount of a biologically pure culture of a Pseudomonas cepacia strain. Ps. cepacia strain AMMD is a particularly effective biocontrol agent which inhibits leaf and stem blight caused by Alternaria panax in ginseng plants.
