  • Patent number: 11968241
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for auto-tuning permissions using a learning mode are disclosed. A plurality of access requests to a plurality of services and resources by an application are determined during execution of the application in a learning mode in a pre-production environment. The plurality of services and resources are hosted in a multi-tenant provider network. A subset of the services and resources that were used by the application during the learning mode are determined. An access control policy is generated that permits access to the subset of the services and resources used by the application during the learning mode. The access control policy is attached to a role associated with the application to permit access to the subset of the services and resources in a production environment.

  • Publication number: 20240081289
Abstract: An apparatus, systems, and methods of providing enrichment to poultry during raising or maintaining of the poultry. One or more light sources project beams to generate laser spots at and around the poultry. A control regimen moves the light spots relative the poultry in generally random fashion during timed sessions for each given time period (e.g. each day). The spot movement is designed to promote benefits to poultry and producer in correlation to experimental data related to animal welfare, health, and commercial value.

  • Patent number: 11907549
Abstract: A system for allocation of one or more data structures used in a program across a number of processing units takes into account a memory access pattern of the data structure, and the amount of total memory available for duplication across the several processing units. Using these parameters duplication factors are determined for the one or more data structures such that the cost of remote communication is minimized when the data structures are duplicated according to the respective duplication factors while allowing parallel execution of the program.

  • Patent number: 11857053
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an aid to help consumers with long hair to more efficiently and evenly dry their hair at one time. A system, device, technique and kit are envisioned that allow a consumer to either adapt existing hair drying equipment for this enhanced purpose or provide entirely new systems or kits to enable the consumer to evenly dry their hair. Extension members threadably engage to each other and a hair dryer or bonnet, the combined elements when mounted to or on a stand allow a user to control, adjust and guide the airflow around long hair of the user inserted into a tunnel portion of the extension members. A heat distribution conduit provides even heat to the deployed hair, and a stand or mount are employed to stabilize the assembly.

  • Patent number: 11777991
Abstract: A first permission allocated to a first identity may be identified. Permission usage information may be analyzed. The permission usage information may include permission usage history information and permission usage pattern data. An estimated probability of a future usage of the first permission by the first identity may be forecasted based, at least in part, on the permission usage information. A first recommendation relating to allocation of the first permission to the first identity may be determined based, at least in part, on the estimated probability. The first recommendation may be a recommendation for the first identity to retain the first permission or a recommendation to deallocate the first permission from the first identity. • Patent number: 11726197
Abstract: A system for determining the physical path of an object can map several candidate paths to a suitable path space that can be explored using a convex optimization technique. The optimization technique may take advantage of the typical sparsity of the path space and can identify a likely physical path using a function of sensor observation as constraints. A track of an object can also be determined using a track model and a convex optimization technique.

  • Patent number: 11500557
Abstract: A compilation system using an energy model based on a set of generic and practical hardware and software parameters is presented. The model can represent the major trends in energy consumption spanning potential hardware configurations using only parameters available at compilation time. Experimental verification indicates that the model is nimble yet sufficiently precise, allowing efficient selection of one or more parameters of a target computing system so as to minimize power/energy consumption of a program while achieving other performance related goals. A voltage and/or frequency optimization and selection is presented which can determine an efficient dynamic hardware configuration schedule at compilation time. In various embodiments, the configuration schedule is chosen based on its predicted effect on energy consumption. A concurrency throttling technique based on the energy model can exploit the power-gating features exposed by the target computing system to increase the energy efficiency of programs.

  • Patent number: 11395932
Abstract: The fire extinguishing tarpaulin is configured for use extinguishing a chemical combustion reaction in an area of conflagration. The fire extinguishing tarpaulin comprises a fire tarpaulin, a rocket system, and an aircraft. The fire tarpaulin forms a gas impermeable barrier that limits the chemical combustion by limiting access to the oxygen required to sustain the chemical combustion reaction. The rocket system is a propulsion system that propels the fire tarpaulin to the chemical combustion reaction. The aircraft is a vehicle used: a) as a launching platform to deliver the fire tarpaulin to the chemical combustion reaction; and, b) a vehicle to subsequently recover the fire tarpaulin for future use.
