  • Publication number: 20240110318
Abstract: A textile sheet (1), which is in the form of a three-dimensional multi-layer knit structure having at least three layers, characterized in that the first and third layers each have at least two portions, wherein the first layer (2) absorbs the liquid and transports the liquid to the intermediate layer (3) wherein the first layer has an upper portion which is hydrophobic and a lower portion which is hydrophilic, both portions being smooth knitted and plated; the second layer (3), namely the intermediate layer (3), absorbs and retains the liquid, the intermediate layer having hydrophobic transverse threads (3a), which interconnect the first and third layers, and the intermediate layer having a hydrophilic inlay; and the third layer (4) prevents the liquid from escaping from the material wherein the third layer has an upper portion that is hydrophobic and a lower portion that is waterproof, both portion being smooth knitted and plated.

  • Patent number: 10006956
Abstract: Systems and methods for determining an operational condition of a capacitor package are disclosed. According to an aspect, a system may include a capacitor package including a dielectric material operatively connected between a first terminal and a second terminal. The system may include a Zener diode being operatively connected with its cathode at a third terminal and its anode at the second terminal. The system may also include a test pin being conductively connected to the third terminal. The system may also include a testing module configured to receive an electrical output from the test pin. The testing module may also be configured to determine an operational condition of the capacitor package based on the electrical output. The testing module may further be configured to present the operational condition of the capacitor package.

  • Patent number: 7783964
Abstract: A redundant communication system and method for providing data communication between a first computing node and a second computing node. A transmitter is provided as part of the first computing node. A receiver is provided as part of the second computing node. A first signal line carries a first data signal. The first signal line electrically couples the transmitter with the receiver. A second signal line carries a second data signal redundant to the first signal. The second signal line electrically couples the transmitter with the receiver. The receiver evaluates the first data signal to determine the presence of an error and the second node uses the second data signal if an error is detected in the first data signal.

  • Patent number: 7747734
Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for assessing error over a communication link. The apparatus for assessing error is provided with a logic unit containing a plurality of modules configured to execute the necessary steps of creating one or more test packets, determining an amount of test packets to send over a communication link to a receiving node, sending a plurality of test packets over the communication link to a receiving node, interspersing test packets throughout a plurality of data packets such that the receiving node is able to continually process the data packets, and checking test packets received by the receiving node for errors.

  • Patent number: 7512854
Abstract: A data receiver circuit in a receiving chip provides the capability to characterize an interface, which includes one or more inter-chip communication lines, between a transmitting chip and the receiving chip by transmitting the data across a primary data path and a secondary data path, latching the data in the secondary data path using a clock signal that is skewed relative to a clock signal used to latch the primary data path, comparing the data latched from the primary and secondary data paths, and recording errors. Because the primary data path is not impacted by the test cycle, the test cycle may be run while data associated with applications running on the system are transmitted across the inter-chip communication lines.
