Abstract: Disclosed are compositions, kits, and methods related to HIV vaccines and immunogenic compositions. Typically, the compositions include a mixture of individual and separate DNA polynucleotides that encode different HIV polypeptides or fragments thereof. The mixture of polynucleotides is designed to elicit a broad immunogenic response which may be subsequently boosted by administering a second composition such as a recombinant virus vector composition. The compositions, kits, and methods may be utilized for treating or preventing HIV infection or disease.

Abstract: This invention relates to a storage stable buoyant waxy grain wherein the waxy grain is waxy triticale and waxy wheat. The starch in the waxy grain is gelatinized throughout and the cooked waxy grains of this invention can be stored for prolonged times in air tight or conventional cereal containers having a liner without acquiring rancid odors or tastes even in the absence of preservatives that inhibit the development of rancidity. Preferably, the waxy wholegrain is a waxy wheat having a protein content of no more than 14% by dry weight. The processes for preparing the waxy wholegrain food products of this invention are also described.

A common pump is used, making the system modular in that varying sizes of implements can be produced by varying the number of pumps. A common supply line is used to supply a liquid input from a reservoir to the pumps. Each pump is connected to the common supply line. By connecting each pump to the common supply line, the difficulty of routing individual hoses from a central pump to each row unit are overcome.

Abstract: A seed hopper for a seeding machine is provided with a plastic bin having a substantially horizontal open top that is enclosed by a plastic lid. The bin has two sidewalls having a track extending the length of the bin. The lid is provided with two inwardly extending pins that engage the track. The lid has forward closed position and a rear fully opened position. In moving the lid from a forward closed position to a rear fully opened position the pins slide along the track. At the rear fully opened position the lid can be pivoted on the pins so that it assumes a opened vertical holding position. The lid and bin are provided with cooperating latching structures for latching the lid in its forward closed position.
