Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to a glove to assist an equestrian rider in holding a rein. The glove includes a central fingers portion and at least one first fastening device positioned on an outer surface of a back of hand portion. A central fingers portion has a central fingers flap hingedly attached to the outer surface of the back of hand portion. The central fingers flap includes a cavity and is selectively moved between an open position where at least a portion of a rider's central fingers are exposed and a closed position where the rider's central fingers are covered. The central fingers flap includes at least one second fastening device positioned on an outer surface. In the open position, the second fastening device is releasably coupled to the first fastening device to maintain the open position and the cavity is configured as a pocket to hold a hand-warming device.
