Abstract: The present invention provides new Cannabis lines, extracts and methods for skin rejuvenation and healing and protection against harmful environmental factors such as UV rays and other damaging agents. The method includes generation of unique lines, whole plant extract preparation, exposing human 3D skin tissues to UV and treating human 3D skin tissues with extracts in amount sufficient to modulate gene expression in the skin tissues before and after UV exposure. The modulation of gene expression then results in a reduction of the disease state-associated changes or aspects thereof in the cannabis-treated skin tissues.
