Abstract: The present invention relates to a core-and-shell laundry composition, wherein the shell comprises: at least one amphoteric surfactant, at least two anionic surfactants, wherein a first anionic surfactant comprises or consists of at least one alkanolamine soap, and at least one polar organic solvent; wherein the shell is in the form of a self-standing gel or a solid at a temperature lower than 50° C. The invention also relates to a method of cleaning a stain on a laundry item and optionally washing the laundry item and to the use of the composition according to the invention for the removal of stains form a garment and/or the removal of malodour form a garment and/or the reduction or elimination of bacteria, viruses and/or fungi from a garment.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a liquid laundry composition comprising: between 1 wt. % and 15 wt. % of an oxygen-based bleach, based on the total weight of the composition; between 0.001 wt. % and 10 wt. % of a homopolymer of 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone (PVP), based on the total weight of the composition; wherein the weight ratio of the homopolymer of 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone to the oxygen-based bleach is higher than 0.009:1. It also relates to a method of washing a garment using the laundry composition and to the use of the laundry composition for the removal of stains from a garment, and preferably dye transfer reduction or inhibition from a garment.

Abstract: A shelf stable laundry or hard surface composition comprising hydrogen peroxide is disclosed. The composition can be in the form of a thickened liquid or a gel that can support solid particles and is stable over a normal product shelf life against both precipitation of the particles and degradation of the peroxide and can tolerate a wide range of additional cleaning ingredients.
