  • Publication number: 20230340240
Abstract: The present invention relates to a polyethylene composition comprising a base resin which comprises a first ethylene homo- or copolymer fraction (A) having a melt flow rate MFR2 from 1 to 150 g/10 min, preferably from 5 to 100 g/10 min, and a second ethylene copolymer fraction (B) having a content of units derived from a comonomer from 0.30 to 1.00 mol %, preferably of from 0.40 to 0.85 mol % and more preferably of from 0.45 to 0.70 mol %, wherein fraction (A) has a lower molecular weight than fraction (B) and wherein fraction (B) is present in an amount of from 45 to 70 wt. %, preferably 47 to 67 wt. %, more preferably 49 to 65 wt. %, even more preferably 50 to 62 wt. % based on the total weight of the base resin; and wherein the polyethylene composition has a melt flow rate MFR5 from 0.10 to 0.35 g/10 min, preferably from 0.10 to 0.25 g/10 min and a strain hardening modulus from 50 to 150 MPa.
