The cosmetic agent includes, based on the total weight thereof, about 0.1 to about 2.0% by weight of at least one hydrophobically modified (meth)acrylic acid copolymer. The cosmetic agent includes, based on the total weight thereof, about 0.1 to about 6.0% by weight of at least one polyurethane/polyacrylate hybrid polymer. The method includes temporarily imparting hold to the shape of the keratin-containing fibers.
