Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided to allow for the allocation and/or other deployment of a complementary network slice to partially and/or fully replace a network slice associated with a piece of user equipment when the piece of user equipment moves outside of the area associated with its current network slice application. When a piece of user equipment moves outside of its current network slice, application area, its services may be provided over a complementary network slice, or a complementary network slice may be allocated for a non-supporting user equipment to be used in the RAN and/or core network. In some example implementations, the allocation and/or other use of one or more complementary network slices enables the operator to predefine and use sets of policies that may differ from those associated with a user equipment's current and/or typical network slice.

Abstract: A call establishment in a mobile communication system comprising mobile stations that contain database in which are marked first calls of a first priority level, and a network infrastructure which the mobile stations communicate with. The process includes the steps of defining in tie database of the mobile station one or more force-controlled calls provided with a second priority level being higher than first priority level and directing the mobile station to one or more forced-controlled calls of the second priority according to the priority of the second call.

Abstract: A method and a mobile communications system for maintaining group data relating to a communication group in a mobile communications system including a plurality of exchanges. To optimize the management of group data, one of the exchanges is selected as a main exchange, in the database of which a master copy of group data of the communication group is maintained. Information is maintained in the database of the selected main exchange on exchanges of a fixed distribution area. The group data are stored in the databases of these exchanges irrespective of the location of the subscribers. Information is maintained on exchanges of an enlarged distribution area. The group data are stored in these exchanges if subscribers belonging to the communication group register under the exchanges. Information is maintained on exchanges of a current enlarged distribution area. Subscribers of the communication group are currently registered under these exchanges.
