    Abstract: Endoscope systems with detachable scopes in accordance with embodiments of the invention are disclosed. In one embodiment of the invention, an endoscope system comprises an endoscope body and a detachable scope. The endoscope body comprises a cable capable of transmitting image data to a computing system, and a body connector. The detachable scope comprises a scope connector configured to couple with the body connector, and a tip, comprising an illumination module and an image sensor, wherein image data produced by the image sensor is transmitted to the endoscope body via the scope connector.
