  • Publication number: 20260151131
Abstract: Medical devices, systems and methods for forming an occlusive material for occluding a left atrial appendage of a heart are provided. In one embodiment, the occlusive material includes a foam portion that extends as a single piece, seamless monolithic structure that is sized to couple to an external side of a framework of a medical device. In another embodiment, the occlusive material may include a polymeric laminate. Such polymeric laminate may be adhered to an outer side of the foam portion. Further, various embodiments for forming a polymer laminate are provided.

  • Patent number: 12429408
Abstract: A durability testing fixture, system and method for testing a medical device. The testing fixture include a stabilizing member, an inflatable member and a pressure controller. The inflatable member is positioned adjacent the stabilizing member and defines a bore therein, the bore sized to hold the medical device. The inflatable member is configured to receive and release a fluid so that the inflatable member is respectively inflatable and deflatable to radially displace an inner surface of the bore. The pressure controller is coupled to the inflatable member and is configured to control inflation and deflation of the inflatable member to radially displace the inner surface of the bore and to apply a force directly along an outer radially extending surface of the medical device.

  • Publication number: 20240197331
Abstract: A medical device configured to be percutaneously delivered to a heart with a catheter of a medical device delivery system. The medical device including a framework and tissue growth member. The framework includes a hub with frame segments extending radially from the hub. The tissue growth member is attached to the framework and extends radially along the framework such that the tissue growth member extends to define an outer layer portion and an inner layer portion where the framework is coupled to the inner layer portion. Further, the tissue growth member extends with multiple voids defined therein such that a filler material is configured to temporarily fill the multiple voids of the tissue growth member.
