  • Patent number: 7823188
Abstract: A system for accessing a packet-switching network (4), which is adapted for the use of a simplified signature method. The system includes a supplementary server (60) which is independent of a proxy server (50) of an access provider (12) and a simplified signature module (66) which is provided in the supplementary server (60). The proxy server (50) is equipped with an interface (64) which enables the connection of the proxy server to the supplementary server (60) and the transmission of at least the authentication requests sent by contacted service providers to the supplementary server (60) in order for the requests to be processed by the simplified signature module (66).

  • Publication number: 20080195696
Abstract: A redirection request interception method includes: a step (E10) of receiving an HTTP response sent to a user station; a step (E30) of obtaining a redirection address contained in that response; a step (E40) of creating and a step (E50) of sending a substitution request to that redirection address; a step (E60) of receiving the response to that substitution request; and a step (E70) of transmitting that response to the user station.

  • Publication number: 20060235940
Abstract: In this method of sharing personal attributes of a user between several on-line services providers, a Proxy server of an Internet access provider spliced into the flow between the terminal and the world wide web, intercepts an attributes request addressed to a user terminal and redirects it automatically to a personal attributes provider selection module. The Internet access provider is the one that dynamically assigned an Internet address to the terminal so that it can browse the world wide web.

  • Publication number: 20060053205
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for distinguishing an HTTP request sent over a telecommunications network from a client device equipped with a browser to a Web server, characterised in that the HTTP request is marked when said request is sent explicitly by the user.
