  • Publication number: 20080104948
Abstract: A method of regenerating a particulate filter is disclosed. The method involves heating the particulate filter to an intermediate temperature, and maintaining the particulate filter at the intermediate temperature until substantial temperature equilibrium is reached. The particulate filter is then heated to a regeneration temperature higher than the intermediate temperature.

Inventors: David Joseph Kapparos, Michael Dennis Lowe, Trent J. Cleveland, Maarten Verkiel, Jessica Anne Crompton
  • Publication number: 20070005263
Abstract: According to the present invention, computer based techniques for using information technology in therapeutics or drug discovery. In an exemplary embodiment, computer based techniques for determining information about the properties of substances based upon information about structure of living or non-living cells exposed to substances are provided. Computer software according to the present invention enables researchers and/or scientists to identify promising candidates in the search for new and better medicines or treatments using, for example, a cellular informatics database.
    Type: Application
    Filed: May 19, 2006
    Publication date: January 4, 2007
    Applicant: Cytokinetics, Inc.
Inventors: Eugeni Vaisberg, Cynthia Adams, James Sabry, Anne Crompton

  • Publication number: 20030203464
Abstract: Methods and compositions are described that affect the GTPase activity of members of the Ras superfamily, preferably Rac, such compositions include guanine nucleotide exchange factors that modulate the GTPase activity, preferably in the presence of GEF enhancers, exemplary guanine nucleotide exchange factors being Rac-GEF and Tiam-1, which are encoded by certain nucleic acid sequences that are herein described, along with uses for the guanine nucleotide exchange factors and the nucleic acid sequences including screening for ligands which recognize Rac-GEF, regulators of Rac-GEF activity, and methods of treating pathological conditions associated or related to a Ras superfamily GTPase, including Rac.
    Type: Application
    Filed: January 18, 2002
    Publication date: October 30, 2003
Inventors: Gideon Bollag, Anne Crompton, Anne North, William Roscoe, Sanju Sharma
