  • Patent number: 11938630
Abstract: An edible soft robot system may be used to display and/or interact with edible inflatable objects. In an embodiment, the edible inflatable object is configured to receive a fluid in an internal compartment. The edible inflatable object may be reversibly coupled to a container, wherein coupling the edible inflatable object to the container comprises aligning a port of the edible inflatable object to a fluid conduit to fluidically couple the internal compartment to the fluid conduit. A control system of the edible soft robot system is configured to receive instructions to adjust inflation of the internal compartment by activating fluid flow into or out of the internal compartment via the fluid conduit, wherein adjusting inflation of the internal compartment causes the edible inflatable object to actuate on or within the container.

  • Patent number: 5088815
Abstract: A device for measuring the speed of the wind at medium altitude by the Doppler effect within the visible frequency range comprises a laser which emits pulses of light, a telescope which receives a scattered light and an interferometer used to measure the spectral shift of the scattered light in relation to the emitted pulse of light. The interferometer is a Fabry-Perot interferometer in which a part of one of the two mirrors of the interferometer is covered with an excess thickness of silica to form two separate filters. The spacing of the two mirrors and the excess thickness of silica are determined in such a manner that the pass bands of each one of the two filters thus constructed are centered on the flanks of the spectral distribution of the backscattered light.
