The balloons are expandable with fluid to a desired volume and/or pressure, according to comfort and fit determined by real-time patient feedback. Because the volumes and the positions of the balloons are known, a calculation of the dimensions of the vaginal canal can be made, so that the matrix of expandable balloons models the vaginal canal.
