  • Patent number: 11911128
Abstract: A mote includes an optical receiver that wirelessly receives a power and data signal in form of NIR light energy within a patient and converts the NIR light energy to an electrical signal having a supply voltage. A control module supplies the supply voltage to power devices of the mote. A clock generation circuit locks onto a target clock frequency based on the power and data signal and generates clock signals. A data recovery circuit sets parameters of one of the devices based on the power and data signal and a first clock signal. An amplifier amplifies a neuron signal detected via an electrode inserted in tissue of the patient. A chip identifier module, based on a second clock signal, generates a recorded data signal based on a mote chip identifier and the neuron signal. A driver transmits the recorded data signal via a LED or a RF transmitter.

  • Patent number: 11593512
Abstract: Described herein are a secure system for sharing private data and related systems and methods for incentivizing and validating private data sharing. In some embodiments, private data providers may register to selectively share private data under controlled sharing conditions. The private data may be cryptographically secured using encryption information corresponding to one or more secure execution environments. To demonstrate to the private data providers that the secure execution environment is secure and trustworthy, attestations demonstrating the security of the secure execution environment may be stored in a distributed ledger (e.g., a public blockchain). Private data users that want access to shared private data may publish applications for operating on the private data to a secure execution environment and publish, in a distributed ledger, an indication that the application is available to receive private data.

  • Patent number: 11068987
Abstract: Various examples are directed to computer-implemented systems and methods for next generation financial account assistance. The method includes receiving a request from a primary account holder to provide a first limited permission for a secondary member to access an account of the primary account holder, and receiving a request from the primary account holder to provide a second limited permission for the secondary member to access the account of the primary account holder, where the second limited permission is activated based on one or more conditions selected by the primary account holder. In various embodiments, the method includes using the first limited permission to provide access to the secondary member to the account of the primary account holder for a first time period, and using the second limited permission to provide access to the secondary member to the account of the primary account holder for a second time period.

  • Publication number: 20050154988
Abstract: The efficient and intuitive presentation, navigation, and selection of available AV information in a graphical user interface (GUI) that is displayed on a display apparatus of an AV system and controlled through user manipulation of a scrolling mechanism of a navigation and selection device of the AV system. Related AV information is organized as items within lists that correspond to various navigable fields of a status bar of the GUI during the GUI interactive mode. A highlighted navigable field of the status bar displays its list of related AV information and the items of the list are scrolled through the navigable field by a user causing the scrolling mechanism to move in a scroll. A different field of the status bar may be selected by the user moving the scrolling mechanism in a lateral movement.

  • Publication number: 20040082258
Abstract: An adapter block apparatus for enabling conventional toy building blocks such as LEGO®, DUPLO®, Megablock® or other building blocks to form racetrack and train track structures for accommodating toy vehicles such as MatchBox® cars and Thomas The Tank Engine® trains. Adapter track blocks are configured to interconnect on the bottom thereof atop conventional building blocks. The top surface of each adapter track block is configured with either straight or curved surface contours, and with either a flat, horizontal path or a sloped path, to provide a longitudinal, medial path for accommodating travel of toy racing cars and trains.

  • Patent number: 6577350
Abstract: A method and apparatus for adjusting font size in an electronic program guide display are provided. A multiple channel broadcasting system generates an electronic program guide identifying channels and corresponding programs in a broadcasting system. The broadcast system determines a number of characters to be displayed in an area of an electronic program guide. The broadcast system determines a number of display pixels available for display of the characters. The broadcast system adjusts the font size of the characters to display the number of characters within the number of pixels available.
