The respiratory therapy devices each have a control unit and each have a device component controllable by means of the control unit for providing a device function. In this case, a coupling unit is provided for establishing an operational connection between the respiratory therapy devices. The coupling unit is designed for the purpose of controlling the control units of the respiratory therapy devices when the operational connection is established.
