Patent number: 11970086Abstract: A vehicle assembly includes a vehicle body and a driver seat. The vehicle body defines a driver compartment having a first door with a first window and a second door with a second window. The driver seat is disposed within the driver compartment. When the driver seat is in a position that accommodates an operator being in a 95th male height percentile, the operator within the driver seat can see out of (i) the first window at a first angle relative to a forward looking direction that is parallel with a longitudinal axis of the vehicle body and (ii) the second window at a second angle relative to the forward looking direction. Each of the first angle and the second angle is at least 95 degrees.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 2023Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: Oshkosh CorporationInventors: Benjamin Andrews, Robert Wesley Holliday, Dan Nett, Annette Rantanen, Paul Schmidt, Nick Winter, Mitchell Wolfrath

Publication number: 20200338228Abstract: Disclosed are photo-responsive pressure sensitive adhesives, wound dressings that contain the photo-responsive pressure sensitive adhesives, and methods to remove the wound dressing. The photo-responsive pressure sensitive adhesive comprises a viscoelastic polymeric matrix. The viscoelastic polymeric matrix comprises a polymer that includes at least a first polymeric segment and at least a second polymeric segment that are each covalently linked together through a photo-cleavable moiety. The photo-cleavable moiety is capable of photolytic cleavage of the covalent bonds formed between the moiety and the first and/or second polymeric segments, respectively, in response to electromagnetic radiation.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 13, 2018Publication date: October 29, 2020Applicant: KCI LICENSING, INC.Inventors: Prathamesh Madhav KHARKAR, Timothy Mark ROBINSON, Diwi L. Patent number: 6160084Abstract: Biodegradable shape memory polymer compositions, articles of manufacture thereof, and methods of preparation and use thereof are described. In one embodiment the compositions include at least one hard segment and at least one soft segment. The T.sub.trans of the hard segment is preferably between -30 and 270.degree. C. At least one of the hard or soft segments can contain a crosslinkable group, and the segments can be linked by formation of an interpenetrating network or a semi-interpenetrating network, or by physical interactions of the segments. Objects can be formed into a given shape at a temperature above the T.sub.trans of the hard segment, and cooled to a temperature below the T.sub.trans of the soft segment. If the object is subsequently formed into a second shape, the object can return to its original shape by heating the object above the T.sub.trans of the soft segment and below the T.sub.trans of the hard segment.Type: GrantFiled: February 23, 1999Date of Patent: December 12, 2000Assignee: Massachusetts Institute of TechnologyInventors: Robert S.
