  • Patent number: 10998754
Abstract: To effectively determine premises as a counterpart for transmission or reception of power in a case of interchanging direct-current power between respective premises A control device (110) according to the present invention includes a power control unit (114) configured to determine a node that performs transmission or reception of direct-current power to or from an own node by using profile information indicating a power usage state of each of the nodes exchanging direct-current power with each other.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 22, 2015
Date of Patent: May 4, 2021
    Assignee: Sony Corporation
    Inventors: Alexis Andre, Annette Werth
  • Patent number: 10734819
Abstract: A method of operating a first battery server for use with a first node of a power interchange system that distributes direct current (DC) power between nodes, wherein each node of the nodes comprises a storage battery to store electrical energy and a battery server to control transmission of DC power from the storage battery of the node to one or more other nodes and to control receipt of DC power at the node from one or more storage batteries of one or more other nodes. The method comprises, in response to detecting that a state of charge of the first storage battery and/or a usage rate of power satisfies one or more conditions, requesting that a master node of the power interchange system control transmission of power from another node of the nodes to the first node, wherein the master node is one of the nodes.

  • Publication number: 20160329744
Abstract: [Object] To propose a power control device enabling a system that interchanges DC power to be realized with a simple configuration, and also enabling scalable construction of the system. [Solution] There is provided a power control device including a reception unit configured to receive a power supply demand from a cell connected to a first bus line that transmits direct-current (DC) power, a transmission unit configured to transmit, in response to the power supply demand from the cell connected to the first bus line that was received by the reception unit, the power supply demand to a cell connected to a second bus line that transmits DC power, and a power control unit configured to control, by a reply to the power supply demand transmitted to the cell connected to the second bus line, power conversion between the first bus line and the second bus line on a basis of information relating to respective voltages of the first bus line and the second bus line.
