    Abstract: Data is transmitted from a transmitting entity to a receiving entity. The transmitting entity transmits data to the receiving entity. The transmitting entity interrupts transmission of data, and the transmitting entity resumes transmission of data in response to a request from the receiving entity. The transmitting entity either waits to receive the request from the receiving entity before resuming transmission of data or solicits the request from the receiving entity to resume transmission of data.
