  • Patent number: 12460969
Abstract: The proposed invention relates to an electronic ring for monitoring Vitamin D produced in a body of a user. The electronic ring comprises an Ultraviolet (UV) light sensor for determining a value of Ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation during exposure of sunlight on a body of a user. The electronic ring further comprises a microcontroller for determining an exposure time of the user to the sunlight. The microcontroller further determines an UVB dosage of the user based on a reciprocal of a product of the exposure time and a predefined weightage factor. The predefined weightage factor is associated with a wavelength of the UVB radiation. The microcontroller further determines an amount of Vitamin D produced in the body of the user based on the UVB dosage of the user.

  • Publication number: 20250204807
Abstract: The proposed invention relates to a method of determining health and fitness parameters of a user. The method comprises obtaining, by a colour sensor (304), intensity values of reflections of light transmitted by the colour sensor on a skin of a user. The intensity values are classified into a plurality of skin types to determine a skin tone of the user. The plurality of skin types are associated with correction factors. The method further comprises obtaining, by a Photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor (302), PPG values associated with health and fitness parameters of the user. The correction factors may be multiplied by the PPG values to optimize the health and fitness parameters based on the skin tone of the user.

  • Publication number: 20250176907
Abstract: The proposed invention relates to an electronic ring. The electronic ring comprises an outer layer, a middle layer, and an inner layer. The middle layer is a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) comprising one or more sensors connected with a microcontroller and a battery. The sensors include a Photo Plethysmography sensor, a temperature sensor, and a motion sensor, to capture values of plurality of health and fitness parameters of a user. The PCB is fixed into position in the outer layer using an adhesive tape. The adhesive tape is thermally conducting and electrically insulating. Values of the health and fitness parameters are processed to determine secondary parameters that are further processed to generate a sleep score and a recovery score of the user.

  • Publication number: 20250176865
Abstract: The proposed invention relates to a method of determining a blood glucose level of a user. The method comprises obtaining, by a Photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor (302), raw data related to pulsations of a user. The raw data is filtered by a Data Signal Processing (DSP) filter to obtain derived variables related to variations in blood viscosity. The raw data is further processed by a probabilistic model to obtain secondary variables related to operating conditions of a circulatory and respiratory system of the user. Readings of the PPG sensor (302) are obtained by a microcontroller (306). The readings of the PPG sensor (302) indicates intensity values of reflections of light transmitted by the PPG sensor onto a blood vessel of the user. The readings of the PPG sensor (302) are processed based on the derived variables and the secondary variables to determine a blood glucose level of the user.
