    Abstract: The present invention relates to a deodorizing strain, a deodorizing microbial agent, and use of the deodorizing strain and the deodorizing microbial agent. The deodorizing strain is selected from Providencia vermicola CM1, Pseudochrobactrum asaccharolyticum CM5, and Providencia sp. CM18 and exhibits a prominent deodorizing effect. The deodorizing microbial agent including the three deodorizing strains can improve a sulfur removal rate to nearly 80% while maintaining a high ammonia removal rate, which solves the problem that there are low sulfur removal rates in previous studies. Moreover, the deodorizing microbial agent can be easily applied with a low cost, which effectively addresses the issue that the traditional deodorizing microbial agent exhibits inadequate efficacy and slow response when used in the traditional stacking and composting processes for livestock and poultry manure and household waste.

    Abstract: A functionally-graded regolith-based energetic fuel and methods for powering heating systems to help humans and equipment operate in harsh lunar conditions are disclosed. A muti-functionally graded material includes energetic particles comprising a metallic fuel and a regolith-based oxidizer. The energetic particles and the regolith-based oxidizer are mixed to form an energetic material. A regolith-based combustible material is disclosed comprising: micro-magnesium in 20%, 30% or 40% w/w; and a regolith-based oxidizer, wherein the material is ball milled for up to 5 hours.

    Abstract: A system and methods for additively manufacturing energetic particles such as polymer-free nanothermite aerogels are provided. An ink containing graphene oxide (GO), Al, and Bi2O3 nanoparticles in propylene carbonate is prepared. The method includes in-situ reduction of graphene oxide (GO), by ethylenediamine, during extrusion and printing of the ink onto a substrate with a simple printing system. The printed aerogels include reduced GO as a porous scaffold for the aerogel with Al and Bi2O3 clusters embedded therein. The linear burning rate of the printed aerogels reached a higher rate (10 m/s) that reported for typical polymer-assisted 3D printed nanothermite products. Also provided is a framework for optimizing a nanothermite fuel grain structure to match a desired combustion profile. The framework was used to model optimal fuel layer thicknesses, radii and bum rates for simple thrust, complex thrust and pressure matching cases.

    Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for synthesis of metastable intermolecular composites, specifically energetic nanocomposites. The method may include dispersing a reductive fuel within a first aqueous solution and combining the reductive fuel solution with a second aqueous solution comprising a metal oxide and base to create a reductive fuel-metal oxide/base solution. The reductive fuel-metal oxide/base solution is mixed and solid material is filtered and collected from the mixture. The solid material is heated to obtain reductive fuel-metal oxide energetic nanocomposites. The ratio of base to metal oxide can be varied to achieve different structures of including core-shell or well-mixed nanocomposites. The reductive fuel may be aluminum nanoparticles, the metal oxide may be copper oxide, and the base may be ammonia.
