  • Patent number: 7744150
Abstract: The procedure comprises the following steps: a) joining a foam layer (1) and a plastic fibre mat (2); b) joining a plurality of additional layers (3, 4, 5, 6) to the central core (1, 2), joining at least one of said additional layers (3, 4, 5, 6) to the central core by a second thermostable adhesive (8, 9); c) applying pressure and heat to the product to give it a predetermined configuration and to polymerize the adhesive. The invention also relates to a roof liner.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 6, 2007
Date of Patent: June 29, 2010
    Assignee: Groupo Antolin-Ingenieria, S.A.

  • Patent number: 7100531
Abstract: An installation for cutting and applying reinforcement fibers (2), with at least two cutting modules (1), each one of which fed with at least a cord of reinforcement fibers (4) and arranged in order to move on a top plane with respect to a working surface (3), where: at least each one of two of the cutting modules (1) is actuated by an independent motor (7), each independent motor (7) for actuation of the cutting of the fibers is controlled selectively by a control device (8); and at least two of the cutting modules (1) are arranged on a shared frame (9) that supports them during the cutting process.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 8, 2004
Date of Patent: September 5, 2006

  • Publication number: 20050241757
Abstract: The present invention refers to a manufacturing process of a headliner for automotive vehicle interiors, and it more specifically refers to the manufacture of headliners obtained from a stratified material, the central layer (2) comprising at least two low density fibrous material layers (1), each one of which is superficially impregnated with thermosetting resin (3). The binding of the layers constituting said stratified material and the forming thereof are simultaneously carried out by means of the use of a hot press.

  • Publication number: 20040094867
Abstract: A process for manufacturing a dressing for an inner lining comprising molding an intermediate layer of a semi-rigid fibrous blanket, applying onto each surface of the layer a thermosetting resin and then a reinforcement layer made of fibrous material; applying at least one protective sheet on one side, covering one of the reinforcement layers defining a concealed surface; and applying onto the opposite side of the lining the decorative lining layer defining an exposed surface; and finally subjecting the layer thus obtained to a shaping or molding process in a hot press, and also polymerizing the thermosetting resin. The invention also relates to the product obtained by the process.
