  • Publication number: 20240133191
Abstract: The invention relates to a boom-arm segment fora concrete pump, wherein the boom-arm segment (30) comprises a side part (35, 36)-which extends between a top chord (33) and a bottom chord (34) of the boom-arm segment (30). In the side part (35, 36), a bent portion is formed such that a first portion (42, 43) of the side part (35, 36) has a lateral offset (56) relative to a second portion (44) of the side part (35, 36). A transition portion (45, 46) forms a connection between the first portion (42, 43) and the second portion (44). The boom-arm segment (30) comprises a reinforcement part (40, 50), the material thickness of which spans the lateral offset (56) between the first portion (42, 43) and the second portion (44). The reinforcement part (40, 50) is butt-joined to the transition portion (45, 46). The invention also relates to a method for producing a boom-arm segment (30).

  • Patent number: 11952788
Abstract: The invention relates to a boom arm for mobile concrete pumps and to a mobile concrete pump. The boom arm, having a first and second end, wherein at least one elbowed section, in which the main bending loads which occur during proper use act as torsional loads, is provided between the first and the second end of the boom arm, is made from a fiber composite material, wherein beyond the elbowed region the height of the boom arm in cross-section is greater than the width of the boom arm in cross-section and in the elbowed region the width of the boom arm in cross-section is greater than or equal to the height of the boom arm in cross-section. A concrete pump with a placing boom, arranged on a substructure, comprising at least two boom arms, at least one of which is designed according to the invention.

  • Patent number: 11536042
Abstract: A boom system for a concrete-delivery device includes a plurality of booms which are pivotably interconnected. At least one of the booms has a recess along its length, the recess configured to at least partially receive an adjacent boom when the boom system. is in a retracted position. Side walls of the boom are extended to define the recess in the form of a channel. The recess may have a depth greater than or equal to a height of the adjacent boom so that the adjacent boom is received within the recess when the boom system is in the retracted position. Alternatively, the recess may have a depth less than a height of the adjacent boom so that the adjacent boom is only partially received in the recess when the boom system is in the retracted position.

  • Publication number: 20220205858
Abstract: A pipeline for conveying concrete determines a pressure in and/or a wall thickness of the pipeline, wherein a first length portion of the pipeline has a first wall thickness and a second length portion of the pipeline has a second wall thickness greater than the first wall thickness. The determination is made using a first strain gauge on an outer side of the first length portion and a second strain gauge on an outer side of the second length portion, wherein the strain gauges are each fixedly applied to the outer side of the length portions. By comparison of the measurements at the two strain gauges, it is possible to determine a wall thickness by determining a strain of the pipeline owing to a decrease in the wall thickness.

  • Publication number: 20200370314
Abstract: The invention related to a concrete-pump boom-arm segment having an upper chord (33), a lower chord (34) and two lateral parts (35, 36) which connect the upper chord (33) and the lower chord (34). The boom-arm segment comprises a longitudinal connection (44) between two subregions (41, 42) of the boom-arm segment which adjoin one another in the longitudinal direction, wherein the longitudinal connection (44) extends over a chord portion (56, 66) and over a lateral part portion (53, 63). The lateral part portion (53, 63) is bent over with respect to the chord portion (56, 66) in the first subregion (41) and in the second subregion (42). The material thickness of the chord portion (56) is greater in the first subregion (41) than the material thickness of the chord portion (66) in the second subregion (42). The invention additionally relates to a method for producing such a boom-arm segment.

  • Publication number: 20200217093
Abstract: A distribution boom for a concrete pump comprises at least a first and a second boom arm, wherein the first and the second boom arm are connected to one another via a joint and are pivotable relative to one another via the joint about a pivot axis, and a concrete delivery line is provided along the boom arms. The joint connects the first and the second boom arm offset to one another so that the load-bearing structures of each of the two boom arms intersect a separating plane running perpendicular to the pivot axis between the first and the second boom arm only in the joint, wherein a hydraulic cylinder is arranged on one boom arm and connected to the other boom arm via coupling rods so that the two boom arms can be pivoted relative to one another by the hydraulic cylinder about the pivot axis of the joint.
