The rack does not have any closed loops, preventing unauthorized bicycles from being secured to it. The bicycles have a controllable portion of a locking mechanism and a control device, wherein the control device is configured to enable the fixture to be secured to the controllable portion of the locking mechanism and further secure the bicycle device(s) to the rack.
