  • Patent number: 9909917
Abstract: A method of using an interactive body weight scale is presented. The body weight scale may have computing and data communication ability to track a user's weight by connecting to a number of different electronic devices. The body weight scale is capable of recording an audio message, converting the audio message to message text, and transmitting the message to a remote social network. The scale may also receive message responses from the remote network and play the messages back based on whether a particular message is a positive message. A scale use indicator provides a reminder for a user to use the body weight scale.

  • Publication number: 20150084848
Abstract: Interaction techniques are described herein involving communications between an interactive display, an interactive system, and at least two generic interaction devices. The interactive system may process relative location information for the generic interaction devices, and the interactive system may cause the interactive display to depict interactions between generic, real-world interaction devices. This may allow for enhanced individual interaction between one or more physical generic interaction devices and a virtualized environment or a virtual world presented by the interactive display. This may also allow for other interactions between a set of generic interaction devices that can be interpreted and presented by the interactive display.

  • Publication number: 20140063180
Abstract: A food scale system and method are presented. The connected food scale system comprises a digital food scale and a plurality of mobile devices able to connect to the scale. A plurality of food logs within the scale are linked to a plurality of user identifiers. Each mobile device may contain one of the user identifiers to uniquely identify the mobile device to the scale. When a mobile device connects to the digital food scale, the scale receives the mobile device identifier and transfers food log data for the identified user to the mobile device. A physical dock for a mobile device is fixedly-attached to the food scale. A wide-angle lens is incorporated into the dock and allows a digital camera within the mobile device to capture an image of food on a weighing surface of the scale.

  • Publication number: 20140038489
Abstract: A system is presented for controlling an interactive electronic plush toy using a macro computer program created on a mobile electronic device using a mobile application. The plush toy is provided with an electronic wireless network interface for communicating wirelessly with the smartphone via a network. The macro provides computer programming for instructing the plush toy to perform an Internet search query, receive results of the query, and perform predetermined actions based on the query results. The actions may include producing sound or motion to make the toy seem life-like.

  • Patent number: 8015079
Abstract: In various embodiments, methods and systems can provide highly efficient order processing suitable for high volume order processing businesses. A batch of orders can be preprocessed to create smaller data sets that group orders for the same item together. The smaller data sets can then be analyzed and processed in parallel without causing database locks. Thus, the time required to complete the order fulfillment cycle may be reduced, which may in turn, increase one or more of operation efficiency, customer satisfaction, sales volume and profits.

  • Publication number: 20060282465
Abstract: A system for determining the existence of pre-determined media content within a media content collection. The system includes a media content processing module configured for collecting one or more media content files from one or more external peer-to-peer networks to form the media content collection, generating one or more classification parameter values based upon a corresponding one or more attributes for each of the one or more collected media content files, applying one or more parsing algorithms to at least one of the media content file and the one or more classification parameter values corresponding thereto for each of the one or more collected media content files, and generating one or more searchable indices based upon outputs from the one or more parsing algorithms.
