Patent number: 10239282Abstract: A laminate stack composed of layers of composite material and viscoelastic material is disclosed. The composite material is made of fiber bundles bound with a polymer matrix and arranged in a continuous curve. In some of the composite layers, the fiber bundles are made of different kinds of material, called a multi-fiber spatially varying stiffness (MFSVS) composite layer. The construction of these MFSVS composite layers transfers more vibration to the viscoelastic layer than composite layers with straight fiber bundles or composite layers where all fiber bundles are made of the same material. The stack can be incorporated into a variety of objects requiring damping, including tubes, sheets, and shells.Type: GrantFiled: February 21, 2017Date of Patent: March 26, 2019Assignee: COUNTERVAIL PRODUCTS, LLCInventors: Anthony A. Caiazzo, Jr., Anthony A. Caiazzo, Sr.

Patent number: 9978089Abstract: Systems and methods provide for personalizing interaction between a provider using a integrated knowledge management (KM) system that tracks data exchanged between users and the provider over multiple communication channels. User requests to a provider can made via multiple different incoming channels, such as by using ATMs, PDAs, cell phones, computers accessing web sites or other Web Devices, Voice Response Units (VRUs), and others. User requests submitted over these multiple channels are routed into an integrated KM system that services these requests and selects personalized offers and/or personalized content and/or personalized format presentation to be provided to the users.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 2011Date of Patent: May 22, 2018Assignee: JPMorgan Chase, N.A.Inventors: Ameet Patel, Jennifer Holme, Anthony Caiazzo

Publication number: 20140040044Abstract: Systems and methods personalize interaction between an intermediary system, a plurality of consumers, and a plurality of third party providers of products and services. For each consumer, a plurality of personalized value propositions may be generated for various products and/or services. The value propositions have personalized terms such that the same good or service offered to one consumer may be offered on different terms to another consumer. The system may generate a list of personalized value propositions for each consumer corresponding to various products and/or services to promote to that consumer. When a consumer interacts with the intermediary system, one value proposition from the list may be selected for presentation. In other embodiments, a plurality of value propositions from the list may be selected for presentation to a consumer as a package.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 16, 2013Publication date: February 6, 2014Applicant: JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A.Inventors: Ameet Patel, Jennifer Holme, Anthony Caiazzo

Publication number: 20060035041Abstract: The Invention is a fastening apparatus and method for transferring a load to a core of a composite structure, such as a composite panel used in ship construction. The apparatus comprises an insert. The insert is adapted to receive a tension load and adapted to transfer the tension load substantially to the core of the composite structure. The strain response characteristics of the insert in tension generally minimize the strain response of the core in shear.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 10, 2004Publication date: February 16, 2006Applicant: Materials Sciences CorporationInventors: Gerald Flanagan, Anthony Caiazzo
