  • Patent number: 7330856
Abstract: A system and method for constructing data concerning items of an asset. The method comprises: providing a user data entry interface; receiving a plurality of data values, each into a data field of the interface, wherein the plurality of data fields comprise a specification for the item and each data field of the specification describes an attribute of the item, and storing the specification into a database on a computer system. The system includes a data store for item specification data provided on a host computer coupled to a network; and a data input toolset comprising at least an item type manager and an item specification manager.

  • Patent number: 7174339
Abstract: The system of method for building a database for the design and execution of projects is described. This system includes a host computer system in data communication with a central database and at least first and second databases. The central data base stores information relating to the design and execution of the project predetermined to be important to one or more project team members. The first and second databases are in communication with first and second computer systems which may be remotely located from each other and which execute standard industry software tools. The host computer system is configured to monitor a plurality of transactions to the first database. Each of the plurality of transactions stores data in the first database. The monitoring includes comparing the plurality of a transaction against a predetermined transaction.

  • Patent number: 5393057
Abstract: An electronic gaming apparatus (21) including an electronic primary gaming device (22), such as a poker gaming device or slot machine and an electronic secondary gaming device (23). The electronic poker gaming device (22) is electrically coupled to the electronic secondary gaming device (23), and the primary gaming device (22) is responsive to the occurrence of selected events, such as poker hands or slot machine reel combinations, for input into the secondary gaming device (23). Thus, the occurrence of poker hands in the poker gaming device (22) produces selection of a space (52) in the bingo matrix (51) of a bingo-type gaming device (23). A plurality of poker gaming devices or slot machines (21.sub.1 -21.sub.16) can be electrically coupled to a common bingo gaming device (23) for simultaneous play of a single bingo game by a plurality of players, each of whom is playing his or her own individual poker game.

  • Patent number: 5332219
Abstract: An electronic poker game apparatus (10) including user-actuated input members (22) and an electronic game control device (42) electrically connected to input members (22) and responsive to user input to simulate play of a poker game. The game control device (42) generates a plurality of signals representing randomly selected cards from a deck of cards to create a poker hand. A bonus signal generator (52) electrically communicates with the game control device (42) and responds to the selection of a predetermined signal representing a predetermined card to randomly effect one of: (i) replacing the predetermined signal with a bonus signal and (ii) retaining the predetermined signal in accordance with odds less than unity. A display screen (16), which is electrically connected to the game control device (42), displays card symbols corresponding to the randomly selected signals and the bonus signal, if present, to indicate progress of the poker game.

  • Patent number: 5259613
Abstract: An entertainment system for slot players in a gaming establishment includes video monitors and speaker/microphones located adjacent each slot machine in a defined area of a gaming establishment. An operator at a centrally located control station can selectively provide video programming from a menu of live and recorded sources to any monitor or group of monitors. Similarly, live or recorded audio can be provided to any of the speakers, or the operator can converse from the control station with any of the players via the speaker/microphones located at each machine. The control station has a variety of audio and video sources, including at least one VCR, an audio tape deck, at least one live camera operable remotely from the control station by the operator, and commercial television broadcasting (e.g.

  • Patent number: 5188363
Abstract: An electronic game apparatus (21) for play of a poker card game. The apparatus (21) includes a display assembly (22) having a plurality of card spaces (23) each representing one card in a deck of cards, preferably arranged in a wheel of fortune array. A plurality of lights (26) are positioned in the display for individually identifying each of the card spaces (23) upon lighting of the lights (26). Game control apparatus (28) including a random sequence generator (29) electrically connected to momentarily illuminate the lights (26) in a continuing random sequence so that the cards (23) are individually identified one after another in the random sequence. A user actuatable input selection button (33) is electrically connected to the game control (28) for interrupting the continuously random sequence to effect a card selection by continuously lighting the next light (26) to be lit in the random sequence.
