    Abstract: An indented antimicrobial paper and a process for making and using the same which prevents bacteria and/or microbial growth and/or migration are provided. The indented antimicrobial paper may have a base layer and an antimicrobial layer. Further, the indented antimicrobial paper may have an indented texture which has alternating high points and low points. The indented antimicrobial paper may have channels between the alternating high points and low points to prevent liquid pooling. The indented antimicrobial paper may cushion items placed on and/or absorb forces applied to the indented antimicrobial paper.
